The U.S. Conference of Mayors took a strong stance against nuclear proliferation and spending at the close of their 84th annual meeting on June 27th, passing a resolution urgently calling on the next President of the United States to dramatically reduce nuclear stockpiles and scale back nuclear weapons spending.
